We had been waiting for a long time for this time of year to come so we could go and enjoy ourselves in the magic and far far away Renaissance Festival. For years Dan has been telling people about this place and inviting families so they can come with us and have lots of fun. I honestly don't think the it is a place for everyone but that is just my opinion. You really need an open mind when you go there and realize that is just for fun and nothing else. We didn't go last year since Kahlan was to small and we didn't want to bother having a little baby cry all over the place and having to feed her in front of everyone. We didn't dress up but we did invite our friends the Javier Family and hoped that they would like it too. The kids all had a blast and wanted to do all the fun stuff they have there but you can only pick and choose or you can run out of money pretty quickly. We had lots of fun and already can't wait to do it again next year, but next year we are all gonna dress up. We ended up leaving Kahlan at the house with my mom because we knew she wasn't gonna enjoy herself walking all over the place and it would be too tiring for her, and for my mom too. We got to see our favorite band Tartanic, the guy with the whip who is really funny, lots of interesting costumes and ate delicious food. I think our friends enjoyed the show too and it was a new experience for them, but we do hope that it was enjoyable and even if they don't come back at least now they know what all the fuss is all about. We went on the last weekend in October so it was the All Hollows Eve event and they were giving candy away to all the kids, so they got to trick or treat three times this year.

Of course our kids always have to do the bow and arrows.
Shayna asked to jump on the trampolines again and this time she almost did a flip.
Isn't she pretty? We made our head wreaths again and that made us feel like we fit in a little bit more.
My kids posting for the camera.
Nano and Aaron.
All the kids together.
The enchanted forest is a great place for family pics. Here is the Javier Family
And here we are, minus our baby :(
Lots of cool and some interesting costumes.
We even saw Shreck and Fiona.
And some creepy guy.
