Yesterday was a fun day, we went to the Mall and saw the Hulk movie (with all the kids). Aaron fell asleep with Dan, Tristan and Victor were acting out and Dan, Shayna and me were actually watching the movie, it was really cool. We have been driving around the area just to get acquainted with the shopping areas and roads. It has been fun. Dan is still applying for jobs and I am sure something will turn out soon. In the afternoon we were supposed to go swimming but there was a huge thunderstorm and had to come back home. They ended up just running wild outside in the rain and having a good time. Today we went to IKEA and had breakfast there. After that we went to see a couple of houses, we liked one of them very much and it is very close to Steven's house.
We have been trying very hard to make the kids behave since we are at my brother in law's house and don't want them to abuse of their kindness. We are so grateful for their help and hopefully they wont get sick of us soon :)
I am trying to keep busy to stop thinking about how much fun it would be to go to lunch at the park or have another American Idol night or something. I do get really sad and as soon as I can check out everybody's blogs :) . Thanks for your comments and I am always happy when somebody else comes to see my blog, everybody is welcome, except for creeps :) Hope every one is OK

We are still here

I know that I was so good at updating the blog on the road and for some reason now that we are here I just can't seem to sit down and do it. Well my laptop wasn't getting connected to the internet so I didn't want to clutter my brother in law's computer with pictures and stuff. For all of you who knew about our dream home that we wanted to buy... it was beautiful, I loved it, it was perfect, we were getting ready to sign the papers and everything, "brand new home", all appliances included but washer and dryer, too good to be true. We went to lunch and then we saw why it was so cheap. On the other side there is this huge industrial site that is like miles and miles away and lots of truck everywhere. I knew Dan wasn't happy about it and the more we thought about we decided it wasn't worth it. We just didn't feel right about it. so now we are still looking for a job and a house, it wont be a brand new home but at leas we will have a house right? I am just so happy not to be on the road anymore, 6 throw ups, 1 injured foot, 4 hotel nights and lots of potty stops we are here. We will keep posting and letting you know how it goes. We miss everybody and our old house :(

We are in Texas

We were so happy to finally make it to Texas. We are only about 3 hours away from Houston but I am so tired and can't drive anymore. Our hotel has a pool outside and I took the kids to play in it, we were planning to stay there for an hour but I got injured with a broken piece of glass that was at the bottom of the pool. How lucky am I? there was blood all over my towel and the piece of glass wouldn't come off, it hurt a lot, but I am all better now. So tomorrow we got to Houston and unload the truck... we are almost there :)

So today we took it easy and drove to Oklahoma. I couldn't sleep last night since everybody is sick and snoring at night. I was afraid to fall asleep while driving so here we are. We went swimming for a little while and did some laundry, we are just relaxing now. We recently bought a little laptop and that is how we are able to blog as little bit. I don't know what I would do without my blog :) We miss everybody!!!

We are in Kansas

We made it all the way to Colby, Kansas. It was a long day yesterday and were very happy to find a hotel again. We are getting ready to eat breakfast now. Here are some pictures from yesterday. A funny one of Victor and Tristan sleeping together :)

We are in Rawlings Wyoming

I know we said we were going to get to Colorado tonight, but we are dead tired and decided to stop driving after 5 hours. We will keep you posted on our progress. We had lots of people show up yesterday to load the truck and today to help clean the entire house, we left around 1:30 pm. Here are some pictures.
