Dan's birthday and Halloween

So I worked so hard on getting the costumes done just before Halloween, literally 25 minutes before we left the house I finished sewing the boots for the boys. They all looked so cool with their full outfit on, Dan looked very good in it too. Shayna of course looked beautiful and she even had a cute crown for her head. Friday night we went to the trunk or treat with our old ward, to say goodbye and be with friends, I was so tired but it was all worth it. Dan's Birthday was also on Friday and I felt so bad that I did not do anything for him, except for his cake to take to work. I made him a graveyard cake with a zombie coming out of the ground, it was kind of cool.
Yesterday morning I went to get Dan some presents and fixed him a nice lunch to celebrate, he was so excited to get his new bike that he has been wanting for a while, an old style bike but cool looking. We all went on a bike ride later in the afternoon to try it out, it was so much fun. At night we got the kids all ready again and I stayed home to give candy away, not a lot of kids out there but still fun to see them in their costumes. The kids came home full of candy and very happy, but I already took their candy away since I found gum stuck on the wall and on the kitchen floor :(
Next year we will have to come up with some cool ideas for our entire family for costumes, so much work but so fun to see the whole family match :)

The costumes look great. I wish we could have been there OR had you knock on our door.

you are so good! In the millenium, when we can all travel by the speed of light i presume, you should give me some sowing lessons. I know the basics, can mend and put patches on, but i have never made an entire costume, let alone 6, You are amazing!
