We re getting there... day # 20
I am thankful that I can cook, don't like doing it all the time but I am definitely thankful that I can follow a recipe or sometimes just throw things together in the pot and make a yummy soup for my kids. The funny thing is that I don't follow recipes that much anymore, except when it comes to baking, Dan absolutely loves my home made soups and they never turn out the same since I don't measure the ingredients anymore and the ingredients are different too depending on what I have in the fridge :)

my mom was always big on just "making stuff up" with whatever was in the fridge... but hers never really turned out very yummy. :) I have no doubt yours are delicious tho... not only because you seem to have acquired every talent known to man... but because I have had your cooking adn just about thought I died and went to heaven! :)
