More preschool fun

Preschool today

I thought you might want to see the kids dancing around during our blue day. I think they had lots of fun eating blue things and learning about colors.

La travesura de Tristan

Tristan found some scissors yesterday and decided to have fun doing some creative cutting. He cut his pants and shirt (he was wearing them) and he found Some cute shoes that I bought for Shayna, they were made out of some mesh material or something so they were easy to cut. Needles to say I was very mad at him for what he did. He was sent to his room after explaining to him that scissors are dangerous and he should not cut anything with them. I decided to take a picture of this stuff so that I could post it. The funny thing is that I can't stay mad at him for that long, after a while I gave up and hugged him and talked to him about the little problem again. I think he understood now.
We had a good Valentines day and the best part was that Dan didn't go to work he had the day off. He got me a card, chocolates, a teddy bear and pink roses ( I hate red roses). He made us lunch and watched the kids while I took a nap. He took the kids to school and he picked them up. Went to Jiffy Lube and did some shopping. He was great, I wish everyday was Valentines day.
We watched a movie and then a TV show about vampires and then played with the kids some video games, it was so much fun.
During the night things changed for me, Aaron was really sick throwing up. I usually don't turn the baby monitor on anymore, but for some reason I did last night and around 1 am he woke up and started to cough, then he was crying and I went to see him, he had throw up all over him and his bed. He kept throwing up all night and he didn't look alive at all. We stayed up almost all night. I think we feel asleep around 4 am and then woke up at 7. I gave him some pedialite and now he seems so much better. We need a long nap today :)

Shayna sliding

OK, after a little mistake (I posted this on the Brown Bytes blog) here it is :)

Shayna in the snow

Here is another video.

The latest

More snow is on it's way. We are supposed to get 3-4" tomorrow :) I am not looking forward to that. We are so sick of it. The kids are having fun at least. Yesterday Shayna and Victor were playing in the front yard, Victor shoveling and Shayna playing on this little hill that I made for them. It is mostly ice now but she was having lots of fun out there. I will post the video later.

I'll post a few pictures I have of the kids that we have taken in the last few weeks.

Here is Tristan trying to get something from me, he loves to look cute when he is asking for something. This smart little guy know all his shapes and color already, even the diamond. I am trying to get him ready for Kinder, since his B-day is on September the 2oth I think we are going to have trouble getting him in school when he is five. We'll see what happens.

This is a picture of the kids the day before my Mom left. We went out to eat at Denny's our favorite restaurant on Tuesdays and Saturdays :) (kids eat free)

Aaron found this little box where the toys are supposed to go and decided to get in it. He loved it, but what I like the most is how he poses for pictures now and his fake smile. Whenever we have the camera he gets ready for it.

What happens when you have lots of mega blocks, three active kids and nothing else to do in the afternoon? They snap the blocks to their mom's hair :) It got painful after a while.

Last week Aaron was eating black beens and made a mess all over him, specially his face. Here is a funny picture.

A SAD WEEK FOR ME

This past week has been horrible, I was sick with the flu and then we got news from Guatemala about my mom's friend. He had a heart attack and she felt she had to leave right away before he died ( I hope he doesn't die) but it was really sad to say bye to her again. She was supposed to stay here until June and we had so many plans. Anyway, my kids, husband and I miss her so much and hopefully time will go by really fast. We recently discovered that my Mom likes to read and Dan found a book in Spanish at the library "Pride and Prejudice". She read the whole thing and then we watched the movie. She loved it and has become one her favorite movies, before she left Dan got the book "To kill a Mocking Bird", she was half way done with that one. Also he got her "Sense and Sensibility", we told her we would watch those movies when she comes back.
